Hattersley (Narrow Fabrics) Ltd. established in 1789 are one of the United Kingdom's leading and most highly respected names in narrow fabric manufacture. Our Keighley factory employs around 85 people and produces a vast range of webbings and braids for all known industrial and fashion applications.

COLOUR RANGE
We offer very comprehensive colour ranges in a variety of different yarn types. We also have the capability of piece dyeing fabric or dyeing yarn specially to customers individual needs.

BESPOKE SERVICE
Webbing can be designed and produced to meet customers own particular requirements, both in terms of quality of fabric and after processing.

MAKE-UP
A wide variety of make-ups are available to suit the individual needs of our customers. In roll form 20m to 200cm, cut into lengths, shrink wrapped or in paper parcels and with plain labels if required.

PACKAGING
Goods can be individually packaged to meet customers personal requirements, ie polybagged, polybagged with header cards, polybagged with printed paper inserts, vacuum packed, shrink wrapped, etc

AFTER FINISHING
Webbings can be dyed, heat set, stiffened, preshrunk, flame proofed, rot proofed, etc as required.

CUTTING AND MARKING SERVICE
Hot and cold cutting facilities of webbings and braids to suit our customers requirements with cut lengths 1" upwards. Our automatic machines also incorporate a marking facility for the precision marking of repetitive cutting bars, sewing or folding marks, etc.

AFTER PROCESSING
We have inhouse facilities to after process all our webbing and braid products. They can be supplied with plastic or metal buckles, sliders, hooks, etc, precision sewn, riveted, eyeleted, punched etc, exact to customers specifications.

PRINTING
Our inhouse printing room is able to print up to 4 colours on a wide variety of webbing fabrics in layouts to suit the individual needs of our customers. This facility is ideal as a cost effective way of adding company logos - trade marks - instructions, etc.

BREAKING STRAIN TEST
Our quality control department incorporates a tensile testing facility up to 7,500kg. Our precision tensile testing machinery is calibrated to BSI standard (BS EN ISO 100002-2:1992). Official Test Certificates can be issued as necessary. For a nominal fee we can also conduct independent tensile tests on webbings and sewn webbing structures, and issue covering test certificates.
